Finance Officer

About the Position

The Finance Officer supports the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records and reporting, helping the center manage resources responsibly so that they can be directed toward patient care.

Job Summary

The Finance Officer will handle routine bookkeeping, prepare periodic financial reports, and support budget monitoring in line with organizational and donor requirements.

Main Responsibilities / Duties

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and ongoing budget monitoring.
• Reconcile bank statements and petty cash accounts.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and donor requirements.

Required Qualifications

• BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with NGO or donor-funded project accounting is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
